Stockton Sixth Form College had a gorgeous afternoon celebrating pride month last week!
Students got involved in our Common Room pop ups which included badge making and temporary tattooing, LGBQT+ reading suggestions, exploring the flags, definitions and symbols associated with pride and our college band even played a few tunes whilst students were eating lunch! #pride #loveislove #equality #lgbqt #inclusivity
Students were then treated to an amazing Art workshop with Lindsey Mills:
A HUGE thank you to the insanely talented and super nice @illustratedbylinds for running an empowerment workshop with our students in support of our pride celebrations. During the workshop students were encouraged to embrace their authentic selves, open up their minds, learn about a few new artists such as Richie Velasquez, and create an original piece of art that reflects something that empowers them by using a self chosen image. Such a heart-warming and special session to be a part of.
