At the end of March Tees Valley Collaborative Trust had the pleasure of inviting some year 10 students from Freebrough Academy, Our Lady and St Bedes and Huntcliff school to join us on our Oxford University trip, organised by our Careers Co-Ordinator Beth Cairns.
We were very kindly hosted by Trinity College at Oxford University. When we got there on the first day, we were given a short tour of the city, Christ Church and Magdalane College. Followed by a movie evening.
The following day we toured the Bodleian Library had talks on what it takes to get into a top tier University, what finance and support was available and also got to speak to some current Oxford University students.
The students then got a chance to explore the city with a scavenger hunt.
The feedback from the trip has been overwhelmingly positive from Students and Trinity College.
