SSFC Multicultural Day 2023 took place on the 16th February and was a great success! Students were encouraged to come in cultural dress which was widely embraced and proved a wonderful, colourful sight resulting in a mini-fashion show! Students could also sample food that had been donated from different cultures for a small donation to the Turkey-Syrian Earthquake appeal. Students also demonstrated their talents in henna tatooing and languages – students could have their name written on parchment in different languages and we compiled a map of the world with ‘Hello’ written in as many languages as we could. We also shared our cultures with ‘I’m proud to be….’ – photos taken will produce an ‘I’m proud to be….’ display in college. There was also live music from a variety of cultures as well as a multicultural playlist which resulted in dancing!
